New Pilates Class @OASIS

Pilates, a concept based on balancing the body, mind and spirit spanning from its creator - Joseph Hubertus Pilates.


Introducing Pilates by Yi Hang, experienced Pilates and Yoga Instructor. Yi Hang began working as a fitness instructor back in 1999, undertaking Yoga instruction from 2003 and moving to Pilates instruction the following year. Yi Hang has many achievements across his career such as, filming a yoga program for Beijing TV, winning the title of Beijing’s Top 10 Male Fitness Coaches, Star Body Building Coach and 3rd place for Mr. Fitness. Yi Hang has studied and underwent much training, from this he has been able to develop his own unique teaching style of Yoga and Pilates.


Pilates when practiced consistently, improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body.

Features of Pilates:

Core Exercise: Controlled, focused movement to improve stability and agility of your core muscles – Abdomen, Lower Back, Hips and Buttocks.

Postural Alignment: Pilates stresses awareness of body and the spirit of concentration. Using correct posture during exercises improves safety by correcting muscle imbalances and optimizing coordination.

Improvement of Injury: Pilates focuses on the neutral balance of the pelvis and spine. This can help to improve posture, back pain from prolonged sitting or standing and encourage a faster recover from injury.

Figure Optimization: Long-term practice of Pilates can improve muscle tone and enhance metabolism creating a slender figure. It has also been known to assist with conditions affecting women after childbirth.
