Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

Mid-Autumn festival is upon us, and Beijing will slowly become quieter while our bellies will get fuller with moon cakes. I have yet to find one that I like, but they are so pretty that I will keep trying. Of course this holiday is not all about eating moon cakes. The moon festival is also considered a harvest festival, since food has traditionally been harvested by this time. During moon festival we will greet the winter and welcome the cold. However you choose to celebrate this holiday, we wish you an amazing week.

Here are a few ideas to keep you busy during the festival:

Moon Gazing

There will be a full moon during the festival, so it's tradition to stay awake and admire the moon with friends and family - while eating moon cakes, of course, and having some drinks.

Not to be mistaken with the lantern festival. Regardless, during the full moon you can certainly let some lanterns loose.

Moon cakes

Devour moon cakes. Some workplace are likely to give emplyees moon cakes, but you can also find many moon cakes in the stores or try to make your own!

OASIS International Hospital truly wishes everyone to enjoy holiday to the fullest!

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
