Dr. Liu specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian lesion and tumors, myomas, endometriosis, occupied uterine cavity, endometrial hyperplasia and atypical hyperplasia. He specializes in female infertility as well as minimally invasive treatment of benign and malignant gynecological tumors and gynecological single port laparoscopic surgery with fast post-surgical patient recovery.

Dr. Liu Haiyuan is a graduate of Peking Union Medical College with a doctorate in medicine and studied under academician Lang Jinghe. At present, he is a member of the Chinese Obstetrician and Gynecology Association (COGA), branch of Laparoendoscopic Single Site (or LESS) Surgery and branch of Traditional laparoscopy as well as, secretary of NOTES association. Dr. Liu is also a member of the COGA endometriosis special committee, the Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA) Reproductive branch for minimally invasive surgery and secretary to the COGA special committee for accelerated recovery. He is vice chairman of the China Medicine Education Association (CMEA) Expert Committee on accelerating rehabilitation of Gynecology and an editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Laparoscopic Surgery.
